Things were rather chaotic in the hours before I left my apartment for the last time to head to the airport. My parents had come down from Connecticut to drive me to JFK and say goodbye, but ended up having to help me finish packing everything and cleaning. I was planning to only bring a 45-liter traveler's backpack and a small collapsible daypack. At the 11th hour, I decided that my daypack was not going to be nearly large enough to hold everything I wanted to bring. My father drove me to the store to exchange it, but I had gotten the hours wrong and the store was already closed by the time we got there. I was running out of time so when we got home (after sitting in NYC traffic for an hour), I threw everything that would fit into a third shoulder bag that I plan to send home with some things I won't need after camp ends in Korea. What follows is everything that ended up in the three bags that got on the plane with me in New York (crossed out items have been successfully sent home):
7 short-sleeved shirts (probably about five too many, but what can I say... I like variety)
3 tank tops (one of which can also be used for running)
